Twins Jewelry Internal Systems
A private operations platform built around the real day-to-day workflows of a jewelry business.
Overview
Twins Jewelry Internal Systems is a collection of software tools designed around the operational needs of a working jewelry business. It replaces disconnected manual processes with a structured system for managing customers, services, transactions, communication, and business activity.
Rather than being a portfolio demo, the system is actively used as part of daily operations and continues to evolve as new workflows and business requirements emerge.
The problem
Daily operations relied heavily on paper records and disconnected manual processes, with no structured digital system tying the business together.
Customer information, repairs, layaways, battery warranties, custom work, transactions, and service history were often managed through separate paper trails or independent processes. Without a shared digital structure, information could become difficult to search, verify, update, or connect back to the same customer.
This created data integrity challenges such as inconsistent customer information, duplicate records, incomplete history, and a greater dependence on employees remembering where information had been recorded. Reporting and reviewing past activity also required manually piecing information together.
Customer communication was also limited. There was no centralized system for sending or tracking service notifications, intake confirmations, ready-for-pickup updates, or other status messages tied directly to a customer's activity.
Because most operational information was not digitized, there was also no practical way to perform meaningful data analysis across the business. Written records made it difficult to identify trends, compare activity over time, review customer history at scale, or turn day-to-day operational data into useful reporting.
The goal was to replace that fragmented paper-based workflow with a structured internal system where customer records, operational activity, communication, and business data could be connected, searched, updated, tracked, and eventually analyzed consistently.
Customer profiles
A shared customer record connects activity across the business.
Customer profiles provide a central place for contact information, service history, communication preferences, consent status, promotional activity, discount records, and other customer-related information.
Repairs, layaways, battery warranties, custom work, and communications can be associated with the same customer instead of remaining isolated records.

Communication
Customer notifications are part of the workflow rather than a separate process.
The system integrates transactional email and text messaging for customer service updates such as intake confirmations and service status notifications.
Communication preferences and consent are stored alongside customer information so employees can manage customer communication within the same operational environment.
Technology
System structure
At a high level, the customer profile acts as a shared reference point between multiple business workflows.

Privacy
This is a private internal production system.
The application contains real operational and customer information, so the live system is not publicly accessible. Portfolio material is intentionally limited to high-level system design and sanitized information that does not expose customer data or private business records.
